What are "Friends" anyway? We get our name from John 15:14 when Jesus said, "You are my friends if you do what I command." We began in the late 17th Century as an evangelical outreach. It was, and still is, our hope to call the world to understand the need for a vital relationship with Jesus Christ, not just going through the motions. To be a Christ-Centered community that is discovering what it means to love God, love each other and to help others come to know Jesus. Therefore, we devote ourselves to:

• Gather together for worship, fellowship and loving service.
• Grow in personal prayer and study of God's inspired word.
• Go tell others by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ.
• Give to God of our time, talent, and treasure.
