In-Person Worship with Kids
Children have spiritual capital. They are created in the image of God and are divinely endowed with spiritual characteristics. Because of this, they have potential for spiritual influence in the church. We recognize this at LFC and invite families to participate in the worship service together.
Our worship service at LFC begins with a time of worshiping together in song, and we invite all ages to participate with us. Our service continues with a “Call to Community” time, where we are invited to reach out and say hi to others, grab a coffee or snack from the entry, and enjoy the community gathering. At this point, families and kids can make a choice:
Choose Your Own Worship Adventure
Worship with Family in the Sanctuary
You can grab a Kid’s Bulletin, dry erase white board, or other worship supports from the Kid’s Wall to help keep small hands occupied and focused as you participate in service together.
Join a Big Brother/Big Sister Worship Experience
Kids can head down the Education Hallway and join the activities with our Big Brother/Big Sister of the day! Each quarter a new theme is introduced and kids can participate in crafts, bible stories, games and fun.
Nursery
Our nursery care is available at the start of worship for flexible ages of 0-5. You can find our nursery down the Education Hallway.
Youth
Following the “Call to Community” time, middle and high school age youth are invited to join our Podcast Church team in the youth room (meeting twice a month), Outreach Project Action (once a month), and Concocting and Crafting (once a month).
